founding principles
Mutter is a multi-family office based in Zug, Switzerland. We have founded Mutter to focus on clients who have already started their entrepreneurial journey and outgrown their home region both in their business undertaking as well as in their personal pursuits. The company was established in 2013.
As business advisors, we support our clients in times of change and transition. We help them find ways to unlock growth and help them strive in new settings. The relationship between us, the founders of Mutter, and our clients is always fiduciary. We act for the benefit of our clients by creating a relationship of trust, confidence, and responsibility. Our company is owned by the founders, and we don't have neither outside investors nor any outside interests other than being in service to our clients.
We work with an extensive network of trusted partners and geographically our expertise expands well beyond Swiss borders. We help our clients to set up businesses, establish ongoing relations with local banks, and to relocate personally by collaborating with our local partners.
With our heart on nurturing business growth, we take a holistic, fiduciary, life-long approach. We seek to know the client’s business from humble beginnings and guide it through by managing the growing complexity of expanding business, as well as preserving and transferring wealth forward.
Our clients are successful software creators, online entrepreneurs, and global traders. We work with different industries and various national and cultural backgrounds which make our expertise multifaceted, agile, and reliable in the context of complexities.
Mutter is under the supervision of the Association for Quality Assurance for Financial Services (VQF), the self-regulatory organization which is officially recognized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
